Lord Paul appointed member of S & T Committee

London: Leading NRI (Non-Resident Indian) industrialist Lord Swraj Paul has been appointed a member of the Science and Technology Select Committee of Britain's House of Lords.

The 14-member Select Committee will be chaired by Lord Oxburgh.

Lord Paul, 72, is also the Chancellor of the Wolverhampton University, one of the largest universities in Britain, and co-chairman of the UK-India Round Table, a bilateral forum, which has played a key role in improving relations between the two countries.
