New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Dec 15, 2003) dismissed a writ petition by Indi-pop singer Daler Mehndi seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged human trafficking case filed against him by the Punjab Police.

Expressing serious displeasure over the manner in which the singer surrendered before the police, a Bench comprising Justice Doraiswamy Raju and Justice Arijit Pasayat posted his other petition, seeking anticipatory bail for hearing to Friday (Dec19, 2003).
