Madras HC grants bail to Nedumaran, 3 others

Chennai: Tamil National Movement leader and a Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) detinue P Nedumaran and three others were granted bail by the Madras High Court today (Dec 18, 2003).

The others granted bail were Pavannan, Suba Veerapandiyan and Dr Thayappan.

All the four were detained under POTA for making speeches supporting the outlawed Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in Chennai, in April 2002.
