Telgi undergoes lie detector test in Bangalore

Bangalore: Prime accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket, Abdul Karim Telgi, faced a lie detector test in Bangalore today (Dec 19, 2003) following an order of a Pune court.

The test was conducted at the Forensic Science Laboratory after the court order was obtained, head of stamp paper investigation team (STAMPIT) in Karnataka, R Sri Kumar, said.

The Pune court had passed the order on an application filed by the special investigation team (SIT) of Maharashtra, set up to investigate the scam.
