Laden running out of hiding places: US General

Washington: Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is running out of places where he can elude the
international dragnet seeking to apprehend him, the top US military official told CBS television today
(Dec 21, 2003).
"We track down every lead. There are people in this Government and other Governments dedicated to
finding him. I think it's just a matter of time before we do," Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Richard Myers
said.
"Based on that, his options for hiding become less and less as we gain more and more intelligence,"
Myers said.
Myers said bin Laden's whereabouts eventually would be uncovered, in much the way US intelligence
succeeded in locating deposed Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in Iraq last week.
