Cauvery Tribunal to decide water sharing: Sethi

New Delhi: Government today (Dec 23, 2003) told the Rajya Sabha that sharing of the Cavery water will be as per the verdict of the Cauvery River Water Tribunal going into the entire gamut of the issue.

Replying to supplementaries during Question Hour, Water Resources Minister Arjun Charan Sethi told Congress member Kapil Sibal that Government would not like to comment on water sharing from Cauvery and it would go by the final verdict of the tribunal.

The Minister said water problem in the country could be solved by linking major rivers.
