Chinsurah (WB) : Police today (Dec 24, 2003) recovered 3,000 bullets and huge grenade making materials from an apartment of a house at Baidyabati in Hooghly district of West Bengal.

Superintendent of Police, Ajoy Kumar said, of the recovered bullets, 2,000 were of AK-47 rifles.

Police detained the house owner, but the tenant of the apartment was absconding.
