Sena activists attack two 'Bihari' paan kiosks
Thursday, December 25 2003 13:23 Hrs (IST)

Pune: Shiv Sena activists allegedly damaged two kiosks run by Biharis, to protest the remarks made by RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) leader Laloo Prasad Yadav, challenging the Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackray for recent attacks on Biharis.

However, no one was injured, police said.

The Sena activists yesterday (Dec 24, 2003) attacked the 'paan' kiosks and also tried to burn an effigy of Laloo, police added.

The Sainiks were protesting against Yadav daring Thackeray to prevent Biharis from coming to Maharashtra.

Police have registered an offence in this connection.
