Indian Army hands over 19 ULFA militants to police

Guwahati: 19 United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) cadres captured in Bhutan were handed over by the Indian Army to the police tonight (Dec 26, 2003) along the Indo-Bhutan border at Dimakuchi in Assam.

Darrang District Superintendent of Police (SP) Izaz Hazarika confirmed reporters that the 19 lower level ULFA cadres were handed over to police by the Indian Army.
