Pune: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket today (Dec 29, 2003) filed chargesheet against nine accused including the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA C Krishna Yadav, Assistant Commissioner of Police Gokul B Patil and others in the city court.

Other accused who were chargesheeted include Senior Inspector, Crime Branch, Mumbai Datta Dal, police inspectors Vashist Andale and Prabhabkar Kakade and four other persons.

The chargesheet running into more than 2,500 pages was filed under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
