New Delhi: Dense fog continued to envelop the national capital today (Dec 31, 2003) disrupting air and rail traffic, although the night temperature rose marginally.

Visibility ranged between 100 metres to 300 metres due to fog leading to rescheduling or diversion of a number of flights. Rail traffic was also affected.

The night temperature was recorded at 6.7 degrees, 1.7 degrees higher than the previous night.
