Ranvir Sena kills five in Bihar over old dispute

Patna: Members of the Ranvir Sena, a private army of landlords, shot dead five people in Bariari village in Arwal district of Bihar today (Jan 3, 2004), superintendent of police P P Pandey said.

Two persons were critically injured in the attack, which took place because of an old enmity, he said, adding they were admitted to the Patna Medical College Hospital.

Military Police and Special Task Force (STF) personnel were looking for the killers, he added.
