Suspected PW activists blow up Patan Block office

Rarwah (Jharkhand): Suspected extremists of the banned People's War (PW) destroyed Patan Block office in Jharkhand's Palamu district with explosives in the wee hours of today (Jan 9, 2004).

The police said the ultras laid out explosive materials inside the Block office and blasted the structure.

There is no report of any casualty.

The 24-hour bandh sponsored by the PW and the MCC (Maoist Communist Centre) ended at midnight last night (Jan 8, 2004).
