New Delhi: Both Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) Central Ministers N T Shanmugham and A K Murthy today (Jan 14, 2004) submitted their resignation to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

PMK had on Monday (Jan 12) decided to pull out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and join the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led front in Tamil Nadu.
