Hurriyat, Advani to meet again in March

New Delhi: Hurriyat leaders and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today (Jan 22, 2004) agreed to have second round of talks in March to carry forward the dialogue on Kashmir after it was agreed that all forms of violence should end.

Sources privy to the talks between the Advani and the five-member Hurriyat team led by its chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari said that the two sides had agreed to meet again in March.

Emerging from the first round of talks that lasted two and half hours, Hurriyat leader Abdul Gani Bhat said it had been decided that all forms of violence should end and there should be a step by step approach for the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
