Victory of NDA in LS polls 'certain': Vajpayee

New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said tonight (Jan 28, 2004) that the coming Lok Sabha elections would witness a "fierce fight" but the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA (National Democratic Alliance) "is certain".

Addressing the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting on the eve of the brief Parliament session, he said the Opposition was "confused and in a state of disarray" and the atmosphere was "favourable to us".
