New Delhi: As part of the run up to the Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president M Venkaiah Naidu today (Jan 31, 2004) announced the setting up of two committees comprising 12 members each for campaign and election management and for preparation for the Vision Document.

The Campaign and Election Management Committee will have party general secretary Pramod Mahajan as its convenor, while Law Minister Arun Jaitley will be the convenor of the Vision Document Committee.

Besides Mahajan, the other members of the Election Management Committee include Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand, Narendra Modi, Vasundhara Raje, Uma Bharti and Arjun Munda respectively.

Among the 12 members in the Vision Document Committee are Union Ministers Yashwant Sinha, Rajnath Singh and Arun Shourie.
