Two suspects in Dubey murder case commit suicide

Gaya: Two persons, who were subjected to intensive interrogation by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the Satyendra Dubey murder case, committed suicide in Bihar's Gaya district tonight (Feb 1, 2004), District Magistrate Brajesh Malhotra said.

Sheonath Kumar Sah and Mukendra Paswan, who were grilled by CBI for several hours here during the past some days, fell unconscious after consuming pesticide at their native Katari village under Chandauti police station in the district.

They were later admitted to A N Medical College Hospital where they died, Malhotra said.

The CBI is probing the recent killing of National Highway of Authority of India (NHAI) Manager Satyendra Dubey in Gaya.
