Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will continue its policy of giving outside support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre and as of now ruled out any move to join the coalition after the elections.
"We will continue to give outside support to the NDA and are confident that NDA at the Centre and TDP in Andhra Pradesh would return to power," Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu told reporters in New Delhi today (Feb 4, 2004) after meeting Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Asked whether seat sharing and other issues were discussed at the meeting, he said, "These have not yet been discussed. But, there is a feel good factor that is being experienced in the country.
"I am 100 per cent confident that NDA Government at the Centre and TDP in Andhra Pradesh would be back after the elections," Naidu said.
