BJP may go it alone in Haryana: Venkaiah Naidu
Sunday, February 8 2004 16:40 Hrs (IST)

Guhana: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today (Feb 8, 2004) stopped short of saying it would fight elections alone in Haryana.

"I have noted that INLD (Indian National Lok Dal) and BJP units in the State want to fight elections alone, therefore we will not hurt the sentiment of the local people," BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu said addressing a rally in Guhana.

A formal decision on this would be announced before the election schedule, he added.
