TDP MP escapes unhurt in claymore mine blast

Hyderabad: A Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP escaped unhurt in a claymore mine blast triggered by naxalites in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh this morning (Feb 8, 2004), police said.

TDP MP K Srinivasulu, alongwith with two associates, was travelling in a vehicle when the naxals triggered claymore mine near Kuntimatti, police added.
