Militants abduct J&K Minister's nephew

Srinagar: Unidentified gunmen abducted a close relative of Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Public Health Engineering Qazi Mohammad Afzal from Srinagar this afternoon, official sources said.

Three gunmen came in a Tata Sumo and abducted the Minister's nephew, Mohammad Alta Qazi, from Lar area of Ganderbal at gunpoint, they said.

No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the abduction, the sources said.
