Kerala: Muraleedharan sworn in to Antony Cabinet

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president K Muraleedharan was today (Feb 11, 2004) sworn in as Minister in the A K Antony Cabinet, as part of the patch-up formula worked out by All India Congress Committee (AICC) to settle the prolonged factional fight in the State unit of the Congress.

Governor Sikander Bakht administered the oath of office and secrecy to Muraleedharan at a function at the Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, raising the strength of the three-year-old United Democratic Front (UDF) Ministry to 21.
