Thursday, February 19 2004 17:36 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: The special court trying the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam today (Feb 19, 2004) allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to interrogate prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi for a day on March 10.

Judge A T Manoli passed the order on an application moved by CBI. A CBI team, comprising three officers in the rank of DIG, Additional SP and SP, was given green signal to interrogate Telgi at Parappana Agrahara Jail on the city outskirts.

The CBI team could move the court if they required more time for interrogation, the order said.
