Malda (WB): Chief Judicial Magistrate of Malda, Dibakar Das was today (Feb 22, 2004) arrested on molestation charges, police said.

Two women probationary WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) officers had lodged an FIR (First Information Report) with the English bazar police station against the CJM yesterday (Feb 21, 2004) alleging that they were molested by Das, the police said.

The three used to live in the same neighbourhood in Malda in North Bengal.

Sub-divisional Officer-Sadar, Subrata Sarkar said, "We have discussed the issue at the top administrative level yesterday."
