Advani cannot use IAF plane to campaign: EC

New Delhi:
Election Commission (EC) today (Feb 23, 2004) rejected Government's request for use of Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft by Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani during election campaign.
"The Commission has said that the existing instruction will continue. The aircraft (IAF) will be only for the Prime Minister," EC spokesman A N Jha said.
