Stamp scam: Court orders narco-analysis to Telgi Saturday, February 28 2004 14:40 Hrs (IST) Bangalore:
A special court today (Feb 28, 2004) allowed the State investigating agency STAMPIT to conduct narco-analysis test on prime accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam Abdul Karim Telgi on March 3.
Judge A T Manoli pronounced the order on the application of STAMPIT probing the sensational scam, which had sought the court's nod to subject Telgi to the narco-analysis test.
The judge had earlier postponed the orders on STAMPIT's plea thrice due to non-availability of a judgement writer.
Telgi has already been subjected to narco-analysis test for the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Maharashtra.
