BSNL employee hurled off running train in UP, dies

Allahabad: In yet another incident of violence on a speeding train, a Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) employee was killed when he was allegedly thrown out of Nauchandi Express by some unidentified persons in Allahabad.

Ompal Singh, posted at Rae Bareilly, was travelling to Allahabad when he was flung off the speeding train by some persons near Atrampur station yesterday (Mar 1, 2004), Railway sources said.

Singh received head injuries and died on way to hospital, they said.

Three days ago, a man suffered injuries when he was pushed out of the running train near Atrampur station.
