Naxals burn railway station records, traffic swayed

Nagpur: A group of naxalites allegedly burnt down some records of stationmaster's office at Makodi railway station of South Central Railway, 41 kms from Ballarshah, police sources said.

When contacted Additional Divisional Manager of Central Railway-Nagpur, Padmakar Lamghare said that due to the incident, the North and South bound trains via Nagpur were affected for two hours.

Normal rail traffic has resumed, he added.

Initial reports from range police, Nagpur had reported a blast at the railway station.
