Islamabad: Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka and her husband Robert Vadra are likely to travel to Pakistan to watch the first one-day international cricket match between India and Pakistan at Karachi on March 13.

"We have been informed that Rahul, Priyanka and Vadra would be coming to Pakistan to watch the first one-dayer. We understand that they have applied for visas and we are making arrangements to extend VVIP protocol to them," PCB spokesman Sami-ul Hassan said.

The Gandhis along with Vadra would be accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official Rajeev Shukla, Hassan said.

The four are among 200-odd guests BCCI wanted the PCB to accommodate. While the BCCI is yet to send the guest list, cricket officials presume it includes some top politicians, film stars and former cricketers from India.

"We are waiting for the BCCI to provide the list," Hassan said, adding that the PCB has made arrangements to extend necessary protocol to them.
