Ara (Bihar): Police patrolling was intensified as tension mounted when a child of a particular community was crushed to death by a tractor at Ramgarhiya mohalla in this Central Bihar town during Holi celebrations today (Mar 7, 2004), police said.

Angry members of a particular community blocked the road at Ramgarhiya mohalla under town police station for several hours to protest against the incident.

Additional police force was deployed in the area to maintain law and order following communal tension.

No arrests have been made so far in this connection.
