The renegade Tamil Tiger leader rejected the offer of amnesty by the LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran today (March 9, 2004).
The breakaway leader through his spokesman, Varadan said that there is no question of accepting amnesty in an attempt by a Catholic bishop Batticaloa Kingsley Swamipillai, to end the rift.
Muralitharan, better known as Karuna a commander of Eastern wing was dismissed on Saturday (Mar 6, 2004), following a power struggle, which has threatened the Norwegian brokered peace process.
