Srinagar: Four Army troops, three militants and a woman were among 11 people killed in separate incidents since last evening (Mar 11, 2004) in Jammu and Kashmir where security forces smashed two militant hideouts seizing Arms and ammunition, a police spokesman said.

Four Army jawans and a militant were killed and three troops, including a major wounded when militants ambushed an Army patrol in Surankote area in Jammu region's Poonch district.

Militants shot dead a woman in Deeri village in Pulwama district, the spokesman said adding that an ultra was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kreeri area in Baramulla.
