IIM Kozhikode and Kolkata divided on fee cut issue

New Delhi: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) were today (March 26, 2004) sharply divided on the Centre's fee cut decision with the Kozhikode branch endorsing it while the Kolkata unit faculty members coming out in strong opposition.

The IIM-Ahmedabad faculty members held a day-long meeting on fee cut and autonomy issues and prepared a comprehensive report to be made public tomorrow, the institute's Chairman B K Dholakia said.
