Film star Govinda files nomination from N Mumbai

Govinda aiming to be 'Neta No 1'
Mumbai: Celluloid star, Govinda Ahuja today (Apr 5, 2004) filed his nomination papers for the second phase of Lok Sabha polls in Maharashtra on April 26 as a Congress candidate from North Mumbai constituency.

The actor, dressed in a white apparel, was accompanied among others by Congress leader Kripashankar Singh when he filed his papers at the collector's office at suburban Bandra.

Govinda is pitted against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) heavyweight and five times MP Ram Naik from the constituency.
