Bangalore: In a shocking incident, a dacoit gang killed five persons at a petrol bunk at Rajagatta village near Hassan city in Karnataka early today (Apr 11, 2004), police said.

The unidentified dacoits, numbering six or seven, attacked the bunk, killing one of its employees, two persons who came by a fuel-tank lorry and two others who came by Tata Safari from Chennai, to fill petrol, they said.

Four others who were sleeping at the bunk at the time of the attack were injured, two seriously, police said adding that the dacoits were speaking in Kannada and Telugu.
