New Delhi: Sitting Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) and All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesman Kapil Sibal has been selected to contest from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.

The Central Election Committee of the party headed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi has also cleared the name of Sandeep Dixit, son of Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dixit from East Delhi and former Lok Sabha MP Sajjan Kumar from Outer Delhi, AICC General Secretary Oscar Fernandes said in a statement today (Apr 15, 2004).
