Yashwant Sinha escapes miscreant attack unhurt

Ranchi: External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha today (Apr 20, 2004) escaped unhurt when his car came under attack on Hazaribag-Bishnu Garh road.

Miscreants hurled stones on his car at Silwa Pahar. However, Sinha escaped the attack, but the windowpanes had been smashed.

This was the second attack on Sinha in two weeks. On the first occasion, suspected Communist Party of India (CPI) supporters threw stones on his car during a poll campaigning in Hazaribag.
