Air Force chopper crashes near Line of Control

Srinagar: An Air Force helicopter crashed near the Line of Control in Uri sector of Baramulla district in North Kashmir this afternoon (April 22, 2004), injuring two Indian Air Force (IAF) officers on board, official sources said.

A squadron leader and a flight lieutenant, who were injured in the crash, have been rushed to the Army Hospital, the sources said.

The chopper crashed near Baaz post around 12 am, they said.
