4 held for selling fake stamp papers in Kolkata

Kolkata: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today (Apr 25, 2004) arrested four persons for allegedly possessing and selling fake non-judicial stamp papers in Kolkata.

Mantoo Sharma, Vimal Kumar, Pappu Shaw and Deepak Choudhary were arrested in Kolkata and CBI sleuths recovered fake non-judicial stamp papers of Rs 25 lakh from them, the sources said.

CBI is probing their links, if any, with multi-crore-stamp paper scam main accused Abdul Karim Telgi.

All the four would be produced before a court in Kolkata.
