Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today (April 27, 2004) made it clear that if he gets another term in office, he would not leave it midway.
Addressing an election meeting, he said some journalists asked him whether he intended to "retire" halfway through another tenure, but he had told them that he will complete his full term.
"I will not leave in the middle. Don't worry," he told the rally.
The Prime Minister said that when he spoke of his retirement, people got upset. "Lekin ab retire hone ka waqt ho raha hai (But, the time for my retirement is near)," he added.
