PM seeks another term to complete unfinished tasks Saturday, May 1 2004 14:03 Hrs (IST)
Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan):
Asking the electorate to keep in mind the achievements of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government in the last five years, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today (May 1, 2004) sought another term in office to complete "unfinished tasks".
"You have to see what sort of Government you want at the Centre. You have already decided what Government you want in Rajasthan," Vajpayee told an election rally in Sawai Madhopur.
"I can say with confidence that in the last five years (of NDA rule), the country's overall condition has improved," he said adding, "Our economic situation has improved, food grain stocks are there in plenty and there is no shortage of foreign exchange reserves."
"We also did not allow prices to increase," he said.
