No party 'untouchable' for post-poll alliance: BJP
Sunday, May 2 2004 09:26 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: Keeping all options open in the wake of exit polls showing a hung Parliament, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today (May 1, 2004) said that it did not consider any party, including the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), "untouchable" for a post-poll alliance.

"Be it SP, BSP or CPI (Communist Party of India), we don't consider anybody untouchable. If anybody is more than eager to support us, what can we do," Agriculture Minister and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Rajnath Singh said in an interview to a TV channel.
