3 ex-Cong Ministers summoned on corruption charges Sunday, May 2 2004 18:16 Hrs (IST)

Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today (May 2, 2004) issued summons to three former Congress Ministers, elder brother of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, ex-chairman of the disabled commission, and two others in the alleged VCDS land corruption case exposed by a real estate agent on April 24, a senior official said.
Former Minister Taquiddin and Rajendra Mahavar, a JDA member were served summons to appear in the ACB HQs tomorrow (May 3, 2004) Superintendent of Police (ACB) R K Sood said.
Former Home Minister G S Shaktawat, Former Minister C R Bakolia, ex-chairman of the disabled commission Damodar Thanvi, Ashok Gehlot's elder brother Kanwar Sen Gehlot and Rameshwar Dadheech were served notices for appearing on May four, the SP said.
The summons were served under the section 160 of Cr.P.C, he said.
Ealier in the day, the complainant and the property agent Ranveer Singh Pahalwan submitted the original cassettes and relevant recordings to the ACB, the SP said adding that Ranveer told that the videography equipment used for the purpose was burnt out.
The ACB seized all equipment and papers used in the alleged scam, he added.
Meanwhile, the ACB sleuths continued their bribe site visits in which they made maps of a farm house of Ranveer along with the a team of forensic experts, the SP said.
