In another incident, ultras fired indiscriminately at Shahpur-Pranoo last evening resulting in the injuries to three persons who were later hospitalised, the spokesman said, adding security forces have launched search operations in the area to track down the militants.

However, unofficial reports said that a police officer opened fire after suspecting movement of militants in the village as a result of which three shop-keepers were injured.

Reports from Poonch said a mine blast took place at Dhoba Mukhari Dhok under the jurisdiction of police station Sawjian in which one Bashir Ahmed, who was working in Army, was injured during the period. The injured was later shifted to hospital for treatment.
