New Delhi:
Exit polls at the end of the Lok Sabha elections today (May10, 2004) by two TV channels predicted the possibility of a slender majority for NDA (National Democratic Alliance) while another put its best scenario at 248, 24 short of the halfway mark in the 543-member House.
'Aaj-Tak', however, forecast a hung Lok Sabha giving NDA 248 seats, a loss of 54 from 1999, Congress and allies 191, a gain of 54 seats, all at the cost of NDA. Others were getting 104, the same as last time, it said.
