Chandrababu Naidu bids a gracious farewell

Hyderabad: Facing rout in the Assembly elections, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will resign paving way for Congress Government.

Naidu will be meeting Governor Surjeet Singh Barnala at Raj Bhavan today (May 11, 2004) at 13:30 hours (IST) to submit his resignation, official sources said.

Congress, which has 91 seats in the dissolved Assembly, is heading for a landslide victory while TDP is being routed even in its strongholds.
