Chennai: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) today (May 14, 2004) decided not to participate in the Congress-led Ministry at the Centre but said it will extend "outside support" to the Government.

Disclosing the party's decision to newsmen tonight after the party's day-long meeting, MDMK general secretary Vaiko said, "We will extend support from outside. We will sit with the Treasury Benches but will not join the Ministry."
