Karunanidhi meets Gandhi, to discuss coalition Govt

New Delhi: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) supremo M Karunanidhi today (May 16, 2004) met Congress president Sonia Gandhi to discuss formation of a new coalition Government at the Centre.

DMK has decided not to participate in the ministry as of now but it authorised Karunanidhi to take an appropriate decision in this regard depending on the situation.

Karunanidhi, who arrived in Delhi this morning from Chennai, would be participating in the meeting of Congress' allies and supporting parties at Gandhi's residence this evening.
