Mulayam non-committal on SP's role in Govt formation

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav today (May 16, 2004) remained non-committal on his party's role in the formation of Congress-led Government at the Centre.

"I have nothing to say at the moment. We shall let you (media) know as and when some development takes place on this count," Yadav told reporters here on his return from New Delhi.

On being asked about the ongoing dinner meeting hosted by Sonia Gandhi for her pre-poll allies at her residence, Yadav said, "I have no knowledge about the meeting."
